Q: I just updated my iphone 5s to IOS8 and now when I try to use handsfree in my car it goes to private mode and is stuck there. I tried re-pairing my phone/ but nothing helps. Any ideas ?

SInce I updated my iPhone 5s to IOS 8 I can't use handsfree in my car. It just goes to private mode and stays there. Any ideas?

Sometimes when an iOS update is released there is a compatibility lag with certain features that requires an update to the vehicle or the head unit. I would first check for any firmware updates.
