Q: after ipod reset some songs won't download

My ipod touch is obviously old now, it's a 2nd generation ios 4.2.1, I have tried to upgrade it but can't, so I decided in my wisdom to reset it. This went ok still not upgraded but now about 20 of the songs in my iTunes library won't download to my ipod, it says location not found. They are all songs purchased through iTunes and all that I listen to regularly. Any ideas anybody?

iPod touch, iOS 4.3.1

That means that Itunes can't find the actual music files. Try:

    -- FInd them by:

iTunes: Finding lost media and downloads

    -- Redownloading them by

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

Hi Thanks for your quick reply, I did those two links but for some strange reason not all my songs showd in the purchased area but other songs which I have not purchased were there as well as some of the songs from albums I have purchased but chose not to download, very strange. Anyway after a lot of going back and forth I went to edit my preferences and there is an option there to "show iTunes in the cloud purchases" so I ticked the option and hey ho all my songs appeared in my libraray and the ones I could not find a location for when I tried to play them next to the title appeared a cloud and I was able to download them all again. I hope all that makes sense, just wanted to let you know in case anybody else with an outdated ipod touch has the same trouble.

    Thanks again
