Oct 1, 2014 3:21 AM in response to lllaassby DawnyNics,★HelpfulHi Thanks for your quick reply, I did those two links but for some strange reason not all my songs showd in the purchased area but other songs which I have not purchased were there as well as some of the songs from albums I have purchased but chose not to download, very strange. Anyway after a lot of going back and forth I went to edit my preferences and there is an option there to "show iTunes in the cloud purchases" so I ticked the option and hey ho all my songs appeared in my libraray and the ones I could not find a location for when I tried to play them next to the title appeared a cloud and I was able to download them all again. I hope all that makes sense, just wanted to let you know in case anybody else with an outdated ipod touch has the same trouble.
Thanks again
