I hold the iPhone by putting my little finger at the bottom while the other fingers 'hug' the phone.
I noticed that the edges where the lightning cable goes are very sharp and after some time very uncomfortable.
iPhone 5 beats the 6 'also' in this (having other issues)
I Have the same problem. The Lightning port protrudes slightly from the case, especially noticeable at the curved ends of the port.
It is very sharp. I'll be taking my phone back for a replacement as I hope mine is just a poorly assembled phone.
Quick update, I returned the phone, it was replaced straight away. I had compared it with other iphone 6s and mine was the only one with the lightning port protruding.
Hi, I have exactly the same problem. Did you get an iPhone 6 now without this issue? I think this is absolutely not tolerable for a 800 EUR phone.
Don't be so dramatic. Just take the phone back and examine the new one before you leave.
Apple just returned the phone with a message like "there was no error found" "the product fits our high quality standards"... Maybe they think I sent the phone to repair just for fun or what? Other possibility is that those "high quality standards" today aren't so high like in the good old Apple times. Really a shame. My iPad Air shows that it is possible to produce a fitting lighning port, but it seems not to be possible on iPhone 6...
