With iOS 7 on your iPhone and MacOS X 10.9.5 (Mavericks) you can save documents in the cloud. The Finder will show you iCloud as a storage option, when you save or open documents in Pages, Keynote, ... and your iOS devices can open them.

Oct 1, 2014 5:31 AM in response to nursingstudent123456by léonie,With Mavericks 10.9.5 on your Mac and iOS 7.1.2 on your iPhone the versions do match perfectly for "Documents in the Cloud". Have you updated to the newest versions of iWork?
When you create and save a document in iWork, click the cloud icon to save it in the cloud.
On your iPhone the corresponding app will let you select the document when you launch the app.
