My MacBook Pro with retina display is all of a sudden flickering. How do I fix it?

Make sure your OS X software is up to date.
Click the Apple top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click: Software Update

I have noticed this too. I wonder sometimes if Mac and Videos/Youtube/Netflix don't play with each other nicely. My older model Imac started getting horizontal lines most dramatically after viewing Netflix videos and then I was watching Netflix last night on my Macbook Pro Retina and this morning I am getting flickers/blinks.
