I just got my new iphone 6 from ATT. After setting it up i found there is a white light (spot) which is brighter than the rest of the display. This light is visible on all light colors and not on dark colors. Let me know if this needs to be exchanged from Apple.

Considering the age of the iPhone 6, I doubt it is still under warranty.
Same with me, mine is iPhone 7. I went to service center today and had it diagnosed. The staff told me that white spots are NOT INCLUDED IN THE WARRANTY. I couldn't do anything. But as I search the internet, I saw many cases similar to my case and they got a replacement. On Monday, I'll be going to different apple store and I will really insist to have a replacement. I purchased my phone 2 months ago. It's unfair
Because I'm in a village in South America that has no frakking Apple Store. Really useless answer. Don't you think I would have taken the ****** thing somewhere if there was anywhere to take it instead of getting an utterly useless passive aggressive response such as this crap!?! Sheesh.
Same problem here , white spot near the middle of the screen, any solutions?It seems like something is touching the back of the screen.😟
Where on the display is it? I have A similar thing in the middle. I noticed it when setting up my phone then it vanished for a few days, came back for a few hours yesterday and has gone again...
Left end of screen. The light is pretty bright. For me it show up all the times under white and any light color background.
I took it back to the apple store and go it replaced.
I recently purchased an iPhone 6 Plus and I saw a bright white spot on the top central region of the display ..... It's very dull but could be visible against light backgrounds ...... Wat should I do ?? I hav the bill and all Doc's .....will my iPhone be replaced ???
Instead of replying to a thread that's been dead for a year, why don't you bring your phone to Apple if you think there's something wrong with it?

That is confusing, but as gdgmacguy said, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Provider and have it examined. They will tell you your options.
