Q: My bluetooth doesn't answer calls correctly with iOS 8 on the iPhone 4s

My Bluetooth earphone isn't answering calls correctly using iOS 8.0.2 on the iPhone 4s. I believe this was happening with the original release of iOS 8, but I thought it just needed to be paired again or the phone rebooted. Unfortunately neither has solved the issue. My Bluetooth answers the calls, but immediately cuts off and sends the call to the iPhone 4s. All other Bluetooth features seem to work fine, such as with Siri, voice dialing, outgoing calls, etc.. If I reconnect the Bluetooth after I'm on an incoming call, it works fine as well.

    The same problem is still present with iOS 8.1.3

    (headset Jabra BT2050 with iPhone6 iOS 8.1.3)

     

    It's not a bluetooth pairing issue.

     

    The only workaround I found is this below

    - Setting/General/Accessibility/Call Audio Routing (set Headset, instead of Automatic)

    but in this way it uses headset (if connected) even if you answer sliding the iPhone


    That's quite incredible from Apple, while using the state of the art for device and iOS (the best iOS and iPhone ever)

    Better with iOS 8.2 (headset Jabra BT2050 with iPhone6) ... now seems all right if the Jabra is ON and bluetooth connected (using default: Setting/General/Accessibility/Call Audio Routing/Automatic)

     

    I found still present just the issue when answering an incoming call with Jabra BT2050 in OFF mode ... switching it ON during the incoming-ring answers the call, but the phone speaker is used (instead the headset speaker)

    FINALLY FIXED!! The latest update to ios 8.3 has finally fixed this issue for me with the Motorola H730 headset. I hope it has resolved the problems for everyone else as well.

    Finally, after 8.3 update, headset Jabra BT2050 is working as expected with automatic mode. Fixed !
