OK.
So I updated to 8.0.2 on the new 6 and immediately my calls through AT&T started disconnecting in the middle of conversations. It was consisted and random.
I went back to 8.0 and problem solved. Steve Jobs would have never allowed this half-baked IOS to be released to iPhone owners. Seriously, anyone else have this issue?

help - my husband and I are both having the same issue with our 5c's. They were both working up until the last 8.0.2 update and now the calls either aren't going through at all or they're dropping after 3-5 seconds. I don't have a house phone, this is a serious safety concern to me. Has anyone responded to you with a solution??
Apple has not responded nor made any formal announcements that I am aware of. The Apple store rep was unaware of an issue when I stopped at a store this weekend. Reverting back to 8.0 solved my problem. You might still be able to locate the software and instructions online.
