Unable to see iCloud pages files via new iPad air

Had a problem getting the new iPad air to accept my iCloud id. This eventually worked but I am still unable to see all my iCloud files On the ipad.

(all perfectly viewable on the new iPhone 6)

anyone out there got any idea what I can do.

wifi is working fine. Apple ID for the iCloud was verified, I did a reboot of the iPad but still unable to get into my iCloud files. This also applies to my numbers files as well. Grrr why is it that when we upgrade to the latest product with apple we might as well simply have to accept that we can throw away at least 2 days of our lives getting our systems back to the level we had before the product upgrade .... so frustrating! ( is this another IOS 8 glitch? The iPad Air is however a mighty fine piece of kit!
