My iPad opens with all screens about 4 times larger.

My iPad opens with all screens about 4 times larger than normal. I have reset it hooked up to iTunes, completely re-installing the whole shebang. Still acting the same way. Also some times I cannot move that huge screen around to get at Settings or anything else. Needless to say it is useless.
