Q: Viewer does not display images correctly, not centered, cropped.

Hi,

Please see screenshots - a picture is worth a thousand words. I cannot reposition the images to center them.

Thanks a lot. Raphael

Also, I remember that just before, an object pressed down on the ENTER key which made repeated noises, Is it possible that this created unwanted space - like new "paragraph" spaces? If I select 2 images now, the first image centers itself in the viewer while the other remains hidden. Seems that if I can reverse the ENTER key action I'll be OK. But how?

We need the thousand words, Raphael, sorry. The screenshots are not showing for me due to the buggy forum software.

But as a bow drawn at venture - if items in the Viewer are not aligned correctly it could be a problem with the preferences files in the user library folder.

    From:  Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics

You can resolve many issues by restoring Aperture back to its original settings. This will not impact your image files or your library. To reset your Aperture user preference settings to their original state, do the following:

    1. Quit Aperture.
    2. In the Finder choose Go to folder from the Go menu.
    3. Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field. Press the Go button.
    4. Remove the "com.apple.Aperture.plist" file from the Preferences folder.
    5. Restart your computer if you're using OS X Mavericks.

It may be necessary, to remove also the mirrored preferences in the sandbox "Containers".

    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist

    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Aperture

And don't forget to restart the computer, before launching Aperture again.
