How can you find the file size of a document created in Pages

As iCloud limits the size of files that can be sent by email, how can you find the file size of documents created in Pages. I am referring to the IOS 8 version on an iPad Air

I cannot find an answer in the Knowledge Base or on any Forum.

Pages does not seem to give document statistics

Settings App > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage > Pages (this assumes you are using iCloud in conjunction with Pages; it may also require that iCloud Drive is activated - not sure).

Keep in mind, however, if you choose to convert the file to another format when you email it, it will alter the size of the file (PDFs will generally be smaller, for example; MS word documents not).
