Dec 2, 2014 7:15 AM in response to RudeboiNLby VinceCharming,Way ahead of you on that one, already posting to my blog's, to my Tumblr, to my Facebook, to my Twitter accounts, its my second most read post on the blog this year, quite interesting looking at the stats to see how people are discovering the post and from what countries.
Also searching Twitter for other people who are having similar issues with iOS8 or Apple in general to see how they are dealing with it.
Next port of call if Apple continue to ignore my requests for informationwill most likely be local TV, we have an excellent consumer protection programme called "Watch Dog" on the BBC, sure they'll enjoy Anne Robinson grilling them on the failure of iOS8 on National TV

Dec 2, 2014 9:01 AM in response to VinceCharmingby VinceCharming,Still no response from the Apple EMIA to my emails, just proves a point I suppose, Apple are not interested in Customer Service/Support or anything else that requires them to provide answers to customers/consumers.
Lets see what tomorrow brings . .

Dec 3, 2014 3:42 AM in response to VinceCharmingby VinceCharming,So my Apple EMIA has now got back to me informing me that he has reached out to his engineers again asking them to provide me with the information, however whether they give me that information or not is up to them, however he has asked.
He also informed me that this will be the last time that he reaches out/asks them and what ever answer they give will be Apple's final answer, I have asked that he provide me with whatever answer that they him to provide it to me on an email, something which he say's he will not do, all answers will be provided by telephone conversation.
Wonder if this is to prevent anything being used against them should I wish to take this further . .
Just got to wait for America to wake up now, as apparently all of Apples engineers are US based it would seem . . let's hope they answer their emails quicker than my EMIA does only took about a week, though it was'nt via email it was via yes you guessed Telephone conversation.

Dec 3, 2014 5:57 PM in response to VinceCharmingby linda LA,I can't tell you how much your struggle is reminding me of a recent battle with AT&T. I was ill without energy and finally gave up! Best luck!

Dec 4, 2014 5:30 AM in response to Kelly Lincolnby VinceCharming,Kelly,
I've tried everything and nothing works, at first Apple said it was a hardware fault without even checking the device, then they said it was software fault after viewing the crash logs and that 8.1.1. should resolve the issue, now they've back tracked and said the crash logs are now telling them its a hardware fault, but they refuse to tell me what the hardware fault is . .

Dec 4, 2014 5:32 AM in response to linda LAby VinceCharming,I'm not ill, just extremely **** off at the fact that they are treating someone who over time has spent about £6k on devices from them, might not be a lot in the big picture of things i.e. corperate customers, but at the end of the day they should at least treat all customers with respect and be able to provide simple answers to simple questions . . and put it in writing . .

Dec 4, 2014 5:45 PM in response to VinceCharmingby linda LA,One of the most frustrating issues in trying to deal with AT&T was their refusal to send me an email confirming information given to me over phone or Chat. I automatically copy and paste Chats to Notes so I have some record of what is promised me, but phone calls are more difficult. And I was simply asking for confirmation of exactly what my plan included and how much it would cost. It all started with trying to move my Uverse service to new location, all of four miles away!

Dec 5, 2014 2:04 AM in response to linda LAby VinceCharming,Yep Apple are the same, don't want to put anything in writing, in case it comes back and bites them in the arse.
Anyway my EMIA rang today to inform me that he's still not had anything back from the Engineers in the US, guess there to busy trying to figure out what they are going to palm me off with next, or maybe they are waiting for the next iOS8 update to be released and then tell me to update and see if this resolves my problems, so guessing he won't hear back from them for about 12 days as it seems they always release them around the 17th of the month.
Will email him again on Monday to chase up . .

Dec 7, 2014 10:32 AM in response to VinceCharmingby Smurfsj,i've recently (last 2 days) experienced sporadic (3-4 times an hour, then ok for an hour, repeat ) spontaneous rebooting of my IPad Mini 1(32g, wifi only); runs latest iOS. I've (apparently) resolved the problem by enabling wifi while its in airplane mode.
