Health - how to see previous days' walking running distance?

In the Health app, I can see the "Walking + Running Distance" for the day, week, month, or year. If I go to the week, month, or year views, it shows a graph. If I go to the day view, it shows how many miles you've walked/run that day. For example, "6.2 mi - Today". How do I see that number for the previous day(s)? With the graphs in the week, month, or year views, I have to guesstimate. And as far as I can tell, this is no option in any of the views to look at previous time periods.

I understand mrbofus' point. What we are trying to figure out is not the number of steps at any given moment but if the app can give us the walking + running distance as a total for the previous days. I want to be able to look on the week and pick a day of the week and for the phone to tell me how many steps I walked/ran that day. Can we get an update for that, please and thank you.

You can see the previous day data if you tap (in step dashboard) on week tab, but no values only top points by days and after tapping on graph you can see all logged data but unfortunately without the day summary. I hope Apple will add something like swipe on dashboard for changing time intervals in the nearest future.User uploaded fileUser uploaded file

Yeah, it seems weird that it will show you the total steps for the current day but not the previous days. Not sure if they expect you to add up hundreds of data points or if they just didn't think people would want to know. Although neither of those really make sense either; the first is obvious, and for the second, if people want to know for the current day, why wouldn't they want to know for any previous days?

Hopefully Apple will fix this soon. The app obviously has all the data, it just needs to show us the total.
