SoundCloud RSS problem

I know there have been a number of questions about this, but going through most of those Discussions I couldn't find anything that would answer my specific problem. So I'm trying to create an iTunes podcast from an RSS feed: http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:108789602/sounds.rss

However, I always get back the "usual" error message: "We had difficulty downloading episodes from your feed."

I followed SoundCloud's FAQ on this topic and can't figure out what went wrong.

It's the usual problem. When you enter the URL of your media file in a browser it downloads instead of playing within the browser as it should. This means that although it works in the iTunes application, the Store can't play it within its own page.

You need to set each file not to download. eiznem has posted the process:

I can't advise on how SoundCloud works; only that the experience is that if you have it set to download the Store can't read the files and your podcast won't be accepted there (and if you turn it off now but back on later your episodes won't play in the Store). The feed itself is already iTunes-compliant and I would have thought shouldn't be affected by what you do with the media file settings.

I have the same problem.

Currently I have 20 episodes up on Soundcloud, all with the download disabled and also the profile pic is 1400x1400 and below 500 KB.

Hence I don't understand what I am doing wrong. My RSS feed is the following:

Any help/support is greatly appreciated 🙂

Thanks, Alex

All I can tell you is that when you enter the URL of your top episode's media file in a browser it downloads, when it should play in the browser. This will prevent the iTunes Store from being able to handle it since it needs to play it from the server. You need to set each file not to download. eiznem has posted the process:

As to the image, it has all the correct parameters. Are you getting a specific message about the image?
