Unable to downgrade iCloud storage

Back up your device to your computer and then call Apple to have them reset your account, meaning switch you back to the free storage. Another thing you can do is sign out completely from all devices and do restarts. Then on one device change your storage option.

You can also report a problem with any purchase through iTunes.

Same problem - unable to select the "Done" button so do I assume the change will take effect 50GB to free?

I had the same issue. The issue was I had already selected to downgrade but since it was still saying I currently had 200Gb I thought I had done something wrong. If I picked 20Gb 'Done' was grayed out and 'Free" would allow me to proceed. I tried picking 200Gb, which was my current plan, and it let me renew... Then, I went back to downgrade to 20Gb and it worked, it just doesn't change immediately. I assume it changes within 24hours.

I´m also having a problem with my icloud storage plan and I´m sorry to tell you that apple support system doesn´t work

Sean757s solution worked for me too when I had the same problem. By downgrading a step at a time I had it done in 20 seconds.

Have tried to downgrade as well. Says I still have the 20G. Just want to go back to the free plan. Any insight?

I had the same issue and it turns out that although it was looking like it had not downgraded, my request had been registered successfully (confirmed by Apple support). The UI could be improved to make it clearer.

In any case, if you're unsure or stucked, I suggest to call iCloud support. They called me right away and took care of it in minutes.

I logged out and logged back in again and the correct free one was chosen. What prompted me to do this was an email that I received saying my $.99 paid account was being upgraded, but I can moved that ID to the free one out 3 weeks ago. Strange.

When the current month is over you'll be downgraded if the free plan is selected (as you say it is)

Nothing strange, the 20GB plan is being upgraded to 50GB.

I have the same issue. I accidentally clicked the upgrade option on my macbook around two weeks ago and I've been trying to cancel or downgrade it to the free option but failed. I've tried it on my macbook, iphone and icloud webpage, no success. please help!!!!
