After getting the iPhone 6 the photos I take on my phone do not save. When I take the picture it shows up in the small display box in the bottom left but when I click on the picture or go to the Photos app it says "No Photos or Videos". I have looked on my iCloud Stream and Photo Stream and they do not save there either.

Unfortunately this hasn't fixed anything for me. I've also tried manually and automatically setting time/dates to the appropriate correct times/dates without success. The problem stubbornly remains.

I went in to Apple Genius Bar and they fixed my phone. I don't know if will work for all phones but here is what fixed mine. They restored the phone as a new phone, not choosing any back up. Try to take a picture and if it saves then just restore the phone again but this time choose your backed up data.

I am having the same issue, too. Very surprised that such a gaping error is occurring on my iPhone 6.
I currently have ios 8.0.
I think ive found the answer to this problem. My date was incorrect so the photos i took, got saved to a few months ago, set your date correctly and you wont have this problem... hope this helps.
I have tried this. Yes - restoring as a new phone allows you to take and save your photos.
Restoring from iTunes backup - doesn't solve the problem.
