How do I find older emails on my iPad ?
Use the search field in email or log into your email account via Safari to see all your old email.

Did you go to your email provider.com from Safari ? You should be able to log in to your email account and see all your emails.
For show go to settings> mail,contacts, calendars> tap your email near the top of th screen> Mail days to sync> no limit,
If you deleted the email from your iPad then deleted from trash the email is gone.
Tried both those suggestions...no luck so far.
AAlso tried Settings..Conracts..Calendar.....but then couldn't find "Show" to be able to change how back to go in displaying emails.
Thanks Bob....but still no joy, despite setting 'no limit'. Emails only displayed for past month. :-(
