Oct 4, 2014 12:22 PM in response to marcibroby Nubz N.,★HelpfulHi marcibro,
By "All sound it gone" it sounds like there are no alert sounds, no music, no phone receiver sound.
Not sure if "tried everything" includes all the steps in this article, but see if there is something else to try. Although the new phones aren't mentioned, the troubleshooting still applies.
iPhone: No sound or distorted sound from speaker
- 1.Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
- Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
- If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
- Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
- If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
- If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
- Try turning off Bluetooth.
- If you experience difficulties with the Bluetooth feature, follow these troubleshooting steps.
- Restart the iPhone.
- If restarting doesn't fix the issue, ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.
- If the issue is not resolved, please contact Apple Support.

Sep 1, 2015 8:26 AM in response to marcibroby jc3willi,★HelpfulPurchased iPhone 6 plus five weeks ago and the first problem was lack of sound. Checked volume buttons and settings to make sure then went to individual sounds for ring, messages, text, etc. and most did nothing when clicked. Changed options however still nothing when a call came in. Phone was replaced last week due to software problem and it was a joy to actually hear phone ring!
A week later and I have voice messages for missed calls that never rang. Back to Apple store. -
Sep 1, 2015 12:33 PM in response to jc3williby jc3willi,Chat person had no answer. Went into Apple store to learn about the mute button above volume buttons on left. Nothing mentioned when I purchased it, in Quick start guide, initial search I read or when trying to diagnose. Apparently familiar to long time Apple product users however this is my first and while happy to have this solved, unhappy that it even exists to be a problem.

Sep 4, 2015 5:57 AM in response to jc3williby Abbey.place22,So I would definitely check the little button that switches back-and-forth above your volume buttons make sure that it doesn't show orange or red because that's a do not disturb button, also I would get a can of compressed air and make sure to blow out your charging port in your headphone jack. And some cases actually muffle the sound so that you do miss the calls.

Sep 29, 2015 12:13 PM in response to bokoneby avidskier,★HelpfulI have this problem, however my phone rings when there's an incoming call, but not sound for email or text messages. I didn't have this problem before the IOS 9.0.1 upgrade. I've turned my phone off and on and still nothing.
