Ever since I updated to IOS 8 my phone will randomly vibrate. Not just when I get a text or a call but I will not even be touching it and it starts vibrating in weird patterns on it's on. I hope there is a fix for this in future updates because this never happened to my phone (iPhone 5) in the past. It's always been rock solid without any issues.
Don't be expecting a fix. The issue is unique to YOUR phone. None of my iDevices running iOS 8 are experiencing that issue.
Have you taken the basic troubleshooting steps? (Restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new). If you've been through all the steps and the issue is still occurring then there's something wrong with the phone. Bring it to Apple for evaluation.
There's NOTHING wrong with my phone. It NEVER did this before the update. I know how to trouble shoot my phone. This started immediately after the update. It's not all the time, but it's not the phone.
And just because it's not happening to YOUR phone doesn't mean others are not having a similar issue.
