Need help. Apple Cinema Display 20" refresh rate!!??

Hi guys! I have a brand new ACD 20". I have few problems. Before buying it i searched vertical refresh rate without luck even on detailed specs on Apple.com.

I have aslo a second monitor plugged in my MacPro. Monitor preferences say that "Sampo 17" is using 75Hz refresh. Instead Apple Cinema Display is set to "n/a". I can't set the refesh rate.

When playing with Quake 4 or even observing flurry screensaver i can see the vertical refresh isn't optimal, indeed i can see orizzonatl lines like "tearing" effect without vsync. I can see it easily with Quake4.

The problem is that using BootCamp and playing for example Half-Life2 is all perfect (Win only for HL2 :-P)

Watching DVDs on OSX seems ok to me.

Any idea? Any solution?

PS: i have a Radeon x1900XT

MacPro 2x2,66 Dual XEON and iBook14", Mac OS X (10.4.7), Apple Cinema Display 20"

The refresh rate is locked at 60 Hz. You can't change it because it doesn't support any other refresh rates anyway.

If you have an NVIDIA card, enabling vsync in the game will have no effect because vsync isn't supported with NVIDIA cards in Mac OS X. You need an ATI card to use that feature.

The Flurry screen saver tears regardless, so don't worry about that.
