Conference Call iphone 6+ Verizon

Spec's 6+, ios 8.0.2

All documentation refers to a conference button tap when dropping one person from a conference call group. I am on Verizon and don't have a Conference button. I have to hang up from everyone to drop one person. Is this a Verizon feature I need to activate?
