Purchased Quicken 2015. When starting app, get Intuit signin window. Enter info and get login failure. What needs to be done?

Purchased Quicken 2015 from Mac App store. Application installed. Cannot get it started. Had set up Intuit id and pw. Each time app started, sign in window asks for Intuit ID and PW and am told of login failure because user id or pw entered isn't correct. this is bogus because id and pw work on quicken website direct. What should I do to get Quicken working.
