Iphone 6 glass screen protectors that cover the edge??

I Have an iPhone 6. And I am a believer in screen protection. At first I had a Tech Armor glass screen protector but there was a hideous under coverage all around the edge. I currently have a best skins ever and it covers the edges!! But i have it in a leather wallet case and the cutouts for the credit cards leave marks on the skins as it is soft. It self heals when left open but.... That is not an ideal result. And there is a small amount of that orange peel effect. Not as bad as Zagg.

SO I have ordered an iLoome. They originally promised a glass protection that had curved edges. That sounded ideal. But not it looks like its a flat piece of tempered glass with a curved form fitting silicon seal or filler so that it covers the edge. I am not sure if I will like this. i will know next week as it ships in 4 days and I preordered early.

so the question is.... Are there any other glass options that have curved edges???

iPhone 6, iOS 8, 126 GB

I'm glad you like it. I like the phone without a case so I put on a lighter " screen protector "- on the back to guard against scratches and it makes it less slippery so I'm going back and forth with the case on and the case off. The Apple silicone case is nice and minimal but I'm probably going to end up not using it. I'll give it to my daughter. She ruins every phone. LOL. It's got such a great feel without a case. As for screen protectors I'll keep this one as long as it stays on. Thanks for your input. Much appreciated !!. I can see how low your home button sits with what your using but it looks nice. Personally I can't see BUYING a beautiful New phone like this one and covering it up with an ugly case.

Aside from putting the Iloome on the screen I put a lighter film on the back to protect against scratches and it's not as slippery with it on.i prefer using my phone without a case. I just can't see BUYING a beautiful new IPhone 6 and covering it all up with some ugly body case. But that's just me. It seems there are plenty of good screen poo protectors available now to meet everyone's needs. Good luck to all. I keep my phone on my home owners Insurance. It only costs $15 a year and they pay me retail price If the phone is lost , stolen, destroyed, etc. And there's no deductible. That's something worth noting

That's cool. I don't think our screens are going to break woth the thick glass protectors we have I them

I can't make my mind up ,. Case or no case. I take it off when I'm at home and put it on when I go out. Although that black Apple silicone case is really nice so I'm leaning toward keeping it in the case and leaving it alone. Dof you read my message about putting it on your home owners or renters Insurance. It's really the way to go

Yeah I would've gotten them if they had better coverage on the bottom of the phone but they don't. And for that price, not worth it. I got my spigen case for like $14 us, lucked out on thier eBay stores. So I bought a range of their cases. i like the neo hybrid metal so far. Its not too bulky but all around protection. I have a film on the back to protect the surface and the apple logo, but I only got it since the logo is exposed. I had propped my camera high up on a light pole with a magnetic gorilla pod from Joby to take a time lapse video and some dumb idiot Rams into the light pole and knocked my whole setup off the pile from about 9-10 feet in the air and hit the ground. The case did its job. no damage, not even a scratch. The case did small scuffs and my pop plastic film protector at the time got a dig in it. Spigen Neo hybrid Metal tested and Owner approved.

I really wanted the leather or even the silicon one from Apple, but when I saw that the bottom didn't have the coverage I wanted, I thought twice, or rather many times. If only had have our more bottom coverage.... I'm really fearful of that area not getting drop protection, just the thought of the metal all scuff up from either a drop or just wear and tear pots me off. I had tried their standard TIP case and their clear Ultra Hybrids cases. And even their slim armor. The standard TPU is as naked as I'll go as far as thinness goes, it's not thin per day but it's thin enough case that covers all around for me, since it still has some corner protection it's better then the air cover from like spigen or power support. It's a slight flimsy around the edges that hugs the screen but better or stiffer then the $3 ones I buy from the street. The Ultra hybrid is also made a TPU around the boarders but even thicker then the standard TPU from spigen. Their is more cushion abd more stiff. But it has a cryatal clear polycarbonate backing. If you like showing off the colors or design of your iPhone abd want good protection that would be the case to go. If you want the same and just want lighter so so protection and cheap go with the standard TPU. The slim armor is bulky even with the implied name. More thicker than my spigen neo hybrid. But it protects well and it's got a handy prop that you can pop out for standing your phone in landscape viewing on a surface. I like the neo hybrid the best. Not to bulky, designed well, quality craftsmanship. And I like that shiny diamond cut beveled edge. I like that its snug yet I feel it won't scratch up the phone as those original iPhone 4 bumpers did From crap getting in between the case and the phone. I feel its not the matter in the case. And on the plus it works well with the iMis EX 3D Corning Gorilla Glass Screen protector. Because the glass protector also curves just like the original display glass. If looks be feels as if I'm not using any protection. If only the neo hybrid only had an pop out prop too it would be perfect.

Ok Mark I found the box. The name of the film I used on the back is called ARMORSUIT,. It's a kind of thin film that prevents scratches and makes gripping the phone less slippery. Got it from Anazon. Mark it's easy to apply and you don't have to get balls in perfect the first time., You can slide it around until you're happy
