Restart automatically after power outage when using a UPS

How are admins who are using Mavericks servers on UPS's getting their servers to restart automatically after a power outage.

The functionality in System Preferences seems to have been removed from Mavericks.

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), 12 core

Thanks Brett,

Yes, but an automatic restart only seems to work with unprotected computers that are not connected to a UPS.

I've tried 2 different APC models (Smart and Back-UPs), one Triplite (Smart) and one CyberPower, (all claiming to be Mac compatible) with the same result. The system shuts down gracefully, but doesn't restart automatically when the power comes back on.

I've seen several discussions in the past about previous versions of OSx, and am curios if anyone has gotten this functionality to work with Mavericks. I've even called Apple (Case # 654440601) to ask about a model that would do this, but they have not responded, even after several follow up requests. This functionality works with Windows servers, and used to work with Mac. I'm wondering what happened. Its pretty important for LDAP servers to be running all the time.

At this point I'm looking for anyone that can confirm a make and model number that will restart the system automatically, or any type of solution to get servers (on UPS's) to restart automatically.
