Oct 31, 2014 6:33 AM in response to Lsanby RACINMI,First, Apparently you don't know much about Steve do you? He would not be cleaning house, he would be moving on and working on real issues. Second, you're asking other users who do not have your issue for support. There are lots of recommendations from other busy people on here that you seen to busy yourself to try. Really? I dont understand that type of behavior. If you ask for assistance don't complain about the answer just because you don't like it.

Oct 31, 2014 3:25 PM in response to Robert Lawtonby Star Traveler,It's stuff like that and your post up above that gets you into hassles on this forum. The fact of the matter is that you're not in line with the purpose for this forum ...
This forum is PRIMARILY about either a technical support question or a technical support answer.
Note the following ...
Stay on topic. Apple Support Communities is here to help people use Apple products and technologies more effectively. Unless otherwise noted, do not add Submissions about nontechnical topics, including:
- Speculations or rumors about unannounced products.
- Discussions of Apple policies or procedures or speculation on Apple decisions.
Post constructive comments and questions. Unless otherwise noted, your Submission should either be a technical support question or a technical support answer. Constructive feedback about product features is welcome as well. If your Submission contains the phrase "I'm sorry for the rant, but…" you are likely in violation of this policy.
Apple Support Communities Use Agreement
Your announced "solution" for yourself (up above) does indeed provide no further reason to be on this forum and would be a relief to many who come here ... and who do abide by the Terms of Use ... which PRIMARILY consist of asking for a technical support solution -or- giving someone a technical support solution.
If you were engaging in what the purpose of the forum was, you wouldn't be running into any moderators at all.
BUT REALLY ... as the other user said up above, there should no further reason for you to post here now ... :-) ...

Oct 31, 2014 3:30 PM in response to Robert Lawtonby Djwuk, fair point, but what if after following all the advice it still doesn't work. . People are seriously ****** off with iOS 8.x completely screwing their apple devices up. Appreciate people are trying to provide work arounds, that are stated to have worked for some, but the number of people still complaining after following the advice is way too high.
All Apple has to do is to provide rollback to stable iOS 7.x platform and all will be ok.

Oct 31, 2014 3:42 PM in response to Djwukby Star Traveler,No ... it's called being RELIEVED ... on a forum dedicated to technical support questions and technical support answers from users.
If you think that you are going to get "technical support solutions" from someone who is never going to have Apple products again ... or that this person even belongs here with his announced revulsion of Apple products ... you have a very strange and weird sort of logic ... LOL ...

There is nothing in peterman's post that could be considered a personal attack. And it certainly didn't stoop to puerile name calling.

The answer related to the post.
I finally have a solution to this problem:
I'm selling my iPad 2 on Ebay & never buying another Apple product again.
Why post here if you have no Apple products? What is inappropriate about that?

No comment would have been better!
I'm new here & find this rather distasteful.
