Oct 7, 2014 8:05 AM in response to TheZediKnightby Star Traveler,You'll have 100 times worse problems with another manufacturer and never have near the positive aspects of the vast infrastructure and Customer Support help that you get from Apple Support, which is rated as the top of the industry.

Oct 7, 2014 1:19 PM in response to Star Travelerby Lsan,I don't think it takes a "Genius" to realize the original poster was referring to 8.0.2. However, if lowbrow sarcasm is what you think passes for high ranking customer service, then that is clearly part of the problem. Instead of spending time trying coming up with laughably juvenile and worthless responses in order to belittle paying customers, why not, I don't know... try to FIX the problem! Steve would be cleaning house right now....

Do you think this is Customer Service??? No, you need to contact Customer Service. And when you do, don't take a cheap shot at a dead person to back your argument.

Oct 8, 2014 8:48 AM in response to Lsanby Star Traveler,It pays to be exact and precise on this, because although the poster himself may be aware of that, there are many readers who are not. Be precise and accurate, and use the edit feature, too. I have many times.
AND ... "this forum" is NOT customer service or Apple Support. If you want customer service, you need to go elsewhere ...

I HAVE provided feeback via Apple's feeback page, as well as participating in this blog. It's true that Apple may not read its own support blogs, but do you know who does? The press. There are plenty of articles on this fiasco. If our feedback complaints aren't heard here, maybe they will listen to the bad press...
It would be interesting to see if everything that's sent via the "feedback" link just goes into a black hole!!

Oct 9, 2014 11:46 AM in response to petermac87by Chicochops,Apologies Pete, I thought that this was a support community forum, you know, because it's called Apple Support Community! Forgive us all for being so...."lacking" in our computer abilities.........

Oct 9, 2014 12:00 PM in response to Chicochopsby Star Traveler,It is strictly a place where "users help other users" with solutions that they know about. It is NOT Apple Support. That is a common mistake when people come here. They think it is Apple Support.
If you are wanting Apple Support, you'll need to go to APPLE for that ...
