I've been in contact with Amenea M. and your top tech support guy in Ireland. Before I start I must point of I'm very tech savvy yet I never made this apparent to anyone of your staff at the beginning , this reason was so I'd be led by the hand though all procedures by them to avoid any confusion about who did what, after a few weeks of back and forth emails and calls. I was told to do a full restart etc and leave as factory setting with iOS 8 installed , all the issues of slow speeds , videos stuttering, apps having major lag, AirPrint not working etc was still present. Your tech guy sent an diagnostic email to which I opened and he viewed the iPad in real time , after a while he replied that he could see in his own words said it seems my apps are closing and opening and where having issues I confirmed with him that this was an app issue and he said it seems to be , so this isn't hardware he said no and he would write a report to this effect , about two weeks later I spoke to Amenea M. who Said I have a hardware issue , when I told her that apps are software she declared she had no tech knowledge lol ,I then told her I was very tech savvy and began to explain the differences that apps are software not hardware. I asked for the diagnostic report for my iPad she said that they cannot give it to me , I asked is the call being recorded and she said yes so I asked will u confirm that there is no software issue with iOS 8 or on my iPad and it's all hardware , she replied me Hopkins I've given u my reply I'm not saying this ! I told here she was a liar and that Apple were hiding the fact that there is a major flaw in iOS 8 , she said its my hardware , I told her to search. Google " iPad 2 iOS faults " there's thousands with the same problems and this is huge coincidence that we all have the same hardware faults since iOS 8 upgrade , she kept repeating do you want to pay £200 for an out of warranty service , I replied I want iOS 7 back or a new iPad she kept repeating the same thing,
From this I deduce that because the diagnostic report won't be issued and that she wouldn't confirm verbally that it was no software faults is basically admitting there is a fault in the software and apples stand point is to not deny as it would be illegal to do so knowingly .
She said a good will guest use of tech support out of warranty was enough , I replied that a simple message of erase your iPad and reinstall from backup was all they did, to a non tech person your staff would have babbled them but as I'm not I seen for what it is , and that's diversion tactics from the real fact of unsatisfactory product that isn't fit for purpose and it damages thousands of owners devices,
I don't want a reply from Miss M. as her attitude to me was smug and if you listen to the recording at times she was giggling which I find extremely disgusting and insulting.

Your posts can be removed without your consent. You do not own these forums or website. Apple does. You grant Apple the right to your posts by contributing here. You agreed to the terms by contributing here. And, they can remove any post for any reason (read the terms I linked to).
