Mar 10, 2015 3:41 PM in response to Lawrence J. Smithby ChrisJ4203,Do you have a passcode on your device. I'm not positive here, but I believe that you have to have a passcode to be able to save Medical ID information. See if information in this support document helps you. Mar 10, 2015 3:55 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by Lawrence J. Smith,Thanks, Chris. I do have a passcode. Thought I had used it when entering my Medical ID, but I'm not positive. I thought of trying to restore Medical ID from my iTunes backup, but it seems that would also overwrite my contacts, etc. which I have changed since the backup. Is that correct?

Mac OS XRestoring your backup will overwrite anything updated since the backup. In addition, unless you encrypt your backup your medical data is not part of the backup.
