how do i import windows live mail contacts into an iphone

I discovered the answer. I was syncing my old windows 7 phone with live mail on my PC (contacts and calendar). To do the same for IPhone. go to settings, mail/contacts/calendars, then account using Outlook.com option. Use your live mail id and password that you sign in with (that syncs to their system), Select calendar and contacts and everything worked perfectly, syncing to the IPhone. I then set Outlook as default for contacts.
