dvd access to get a dvd out !

All the online help, forums, boot up, eject etc do not work . terminal/drutil eject ; keybaord depressed on a boot up.; Ctrl E, Ctrl S on boot etc.

System does not see the dvd or make any noise like a pc would to eject a dvd even if its not there.

how to get in there to get it out. ? 😕
