How do I use my cloud storage for updates?
I Need to install an update but only have room in my cloud . How can I use this for updates?

You can't, the update must be downloaded locally to your iPad before you can install it. You might find it works better if you connect the iPad to a computer and update through iTunes. Either way, though, you may need to delete data or apps to create free space.
