Alternative emails are not rescue mails. You might not have added a rescue mail, and therefore not able to reset the security questions yourself.
To reset the security questions you need to call AppleCare for you country. Make sure that you are logged in to your Apple ID at id.apple.com and at the "Password and Security" pane to reset the security questions, you might be asked to create a temporary support pin.
