my photo stream not working after update to IOS8

My photo stream has disappeared on my mobile devices and my mobile devices are no longer sharing to my macbook air. Error message says I need Yosemite, but yosemite isn't available yet. WTH??!!!

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

You have probably enabled iCloud Drive on one of your mobile devices after upgrading to iOS 8. Then "documents in the cloud" will no longer work. Unfortunately, the upgrade to iCloud Drive cannot be undone. You'll have to wait for Yosemite.

While you are waiting for the Yosemite release you could sync your iWork documents with Dropbox.



As to My Photo Stream:

The new Photos.app stores the photos differently. There is no longer a Camera Roll, and My Photo Stream is no longer visible as a separate album. You will find the Photo Stream photos in the "Recently Added" album.
