My computer with 2 monitors keeps switching sides

I have 2 monitors on my computers - 2 Mac Pros (2011) and an iMac. All are running 10.9.5. I have one monitor in each case that is the "home" monitor - with the dock and files on the desktop. All 3 of my computers keep switching the Dock to the other monitor .. randomly. Once switched, the Dock stays on the other monitor until I use system preferences to change the arrangement.

Has anyone found a cure for this problem?

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), iPad, iPhone5, Mac Pro, MacBook Pro

I may have found an answer.

I have 3 computers (2 Mac Pros and an iMac) that have multiple monitors.

The DOCK keeps switching to the second monitor for no reason.

I may have fixed it by going to System Preferences/ Displays / Color ... on each monitor I selected only 1 profile - and then checked the box:

"Show profiles for this display only" for each monitor.

My dock has been stable since I did this ....

I will mark it as SOLVED in a day or two .... so far, for the first 24 hours, I have a stable dock with dual monitors ....

My dock switched to the second monitor today.

How do I UNMARK my answer as "solved?"
