Are you saying you paid a 3rd party to hack your phone so it unlocks from the carrier or you paid your cell phone provider to unlock your phone and you restore the phone in iTunes and you received a message saying congrats your phone is unlocked?

Where did you have to pay to get an unlock. Most of the carriers do that for free, unless you used one of those unlock services, which are nothing more than a rip off.

See this support document for troubleshooting a No SIM messages. If you see 'No SIM' alert on iPhone

Only the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it. If you payed someone else, then you got ripped off, and/or have now rendered your phone unsupportable.

Your phone was hacked to unlock it.

As already stated only the carrier the phone is locked to is authorized to unlock it.

As already stated only the carrier that the phone is locked to in your case T-Mobile is authorized to unlock it.

there is your answer on what to do next.

    good luck.

You were rooked out of $115 for and illegal unlock which has been relocked during the upgrade.

If you would have looked on the internet, you would have discovered that site is a ripoff.

There is ever chance that they also jailbroke the iPhone for you in order to illegally unlock which will open it up to all kinds of malware in the future.

You've been given the answer already.  Go back and re-read all of the previous post, what is the most common reply from all of us.

And I already told you the answer.

No one can check your IMEI, we are not Apple. We are users like you. Again, the IMEI check sites on the Internet are just a big a ripoff as the unlock sites. Your cousin should have gotten the phone unlocked for you in the US before sent to you. Now your other problem is the warranty on the device is only good in the US, and Apple will not accept international shipments.

You can take a look at this support document to see if anything helps, but my guess is this unlock was a hack and it didn't work, so not only are you out the $115, your cousin is out whatever was paid for the phone. If you see 'No SIM' alert on iPhone
