I have some headphones that I bought 8 months ago. I don't have the original packaging, but I have the receipt. Do I need the packaging?
I just returned an Apple Silicone Case this week to the Apple Store and I didn't have the packaging. It was within the 30-days of purchase. No issue at all.
What we normally hear is returning for refund, that is, within the initial 30-days after purchase, the original packaging must accompany the product. If you don't have it, take what you do have to the Apple store, or make a copy of the receipt if you are sending to Apple.
