Updated to 8.0.2 on my iPhone5. No cell service since.

A few days ago, I updated to iOS 8.0.2 on my iPhone 5. Ever since, calls ring into my phone, and I can answer and (sometimes) hear the person on the other end, but they can't hear me. A few seconds into the call, the call drops. I can't make any calls out. Some text messages are not going through. MMS photos are not going through.

What is going on Apple????????

I have owned Apple products for years and years - MacBooks, MacBook Air, MacBook Pros, iPads, iPhones, iMac..... I have noticed a continual degradation of products over the years, quality is NOT what it used to be for Apple. I used to feel that I was getting a superior product. Not anymore. I can't think of a single reason anymore to purchase Apple over another brand in terms of product (hardware and software) quality. All that remains is my Apple loyalty, and after not being able to make a telephone call --- even my loyalty is starting to wane.

Kenya,

You're embarrassing yourself by addressing Apple here. This is a forum of users, just like you. Apple isn't here, and frankly, none of us care what you feel about Apple and its products.

Instead of carrying on like a baby, maybe you'd like to to tells us what you've done to troubleshoot your issue so far--and what happened with each of those troubleshooting steps.

Save your whining for a more appropriate forum.

Best,

GDG

Embarrassing??? Can't be any MORE embarrassing than creating a post to whine about people whining..... EPIC.

But hey, thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to address my post and engage in an ad hominem attack. Really??? You don't care about how I feel about Apple? The fact that you took the time for a response says otherwise. Or do you just go around whining about people whining because you have nothing better to do???? Now go away little boy and make room for the adults to converse.

Thank you for your post! I am glad that I have not upgraded to iOS 8. I guess I'll keep waiting until I hear that issues like this have been taken care of.

I usually do the regular upgrades right away. For the major upgrades I wait & let the techies check it out to see if its working well & if not get it fixed before I will upgrade. I had heard of some of these issues which are disappointing to find in apple products which I had always found very reliable & w out the bugs that Windows has.

You sound like an experienced user who should know how Apple devices work.

I'm disappointed that Apple doesn't have more info like a news bulletin about issues so we don't have to hunt for answers.

ME TOO! I use my phone for work..... or rather, I can't at the moment, Im having to use my landline, and it will cost me a fortune. I am getting so annoyed at this. I too have been a loyal Apple user, Mac book, iPad, iPods iPhone, and think the fact an update to sort out this mess hasn't been created yet is appalling, and costing me MONEY! APPLE SORT IT OUT PLEASE, I HAVE SUBMITTED AN APPLE COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS not just written on blogs
