Oct 16, 2014 5:21 PM in response to stedman1by Tetanus1,The supported Bluetooth profiles have nothing to do with it, as my iPhone on iOS 8 also will not pair with Bluetooth on my MacBook. Shows the same not supported message, however my iPad Air on iOS 8 can pair and connect with my MacBook just fine.

Oct 16, 2014 5:31 PM in response to MusicDogby Ralph9430,A Bluetooth connection is not supported between an iPhone and a MacBook pro. It would be helpful if you explained what you are trying to accomplish by that connection. Once we know that we can tell you how to get it done.

Oct 24, 2014 9:33 AM in response to Ralph9430by duane2621,i'm having the same problem. 2009 macbook pro/iphone 6. recently bought keynote for a class i'm taking. final presentation is tomorrow and i just figured out that i can't use my silver apple remote to change slides in keynote. i was told that i need a bluetooth connection to use one of the keynote remote apps in the App Store
