Recycle--Logic 7.2.2

Question

Recycle--Logic 7.2.2

Hi there

I cant use recycle(rx2)files in Logic 7.2.2. Not even in the EXS24 sampler or by draging them to an audio track. Has anybody a tip what could be wrong ?

What happens when you try? Do you get an error message?

Try and download the latest REX engine from the Props, and see whether that helps. Also, I recall similar problems have come up here before, so try a search and search if you come up with anything that might help.

Everytime i try to open a rx2 file with exs24, logic tells me that this is not an exs file. When i try to drag rx2 file to an audio track logic ask, what kind of file is this ? I do have the newest reycle version downloaded from proppellerheads. All my rx2 files have been used before without problems on a g4 with logic 7.

If you put "rex" into the search field, you will see that this is a quite common issue.

People have solved it in various ways, from installing the latest rex library from the Props, from installing the Reason demo, from deleting corrupt libraries or missing aliases to the library.

So stuff to try:
- http://www.propellerheads.se/download/files/REX16Installer.dmg

- Install the Reason demo

- Moving the file from:
HD/Library/Application Support/REX Shared Library to
HD/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/REX Shared Library

Let us know whether any of that fixes stuff for you.
