Q: BUG? iOS 8 Settings Not Saving

My iPhone 5S's "battery percentage" disappeared one day while I was using IOS 8. I went into settings, Usage to turn it ON but it does not work. It keeps getting back to OFF mode by itself. I tried reseting phone, clean restore, hard reset etc. No luck!

After sometime of usage, I've also realized that I can not change many other settings on my phone as well...

     - Can not change ringtone from its default factory setting ringtone

     - Can not TURN OFF Keypad Lock sound

     - Can not TURN OFF Vibrate option when silent

     - IOS Mail settings can't be changed....

and many many more.... To me this is a HUGE bug needs to be fixed ASAP!

Please write if there is a fix!

Thanks!

You can try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if these problems persists.

This has happened to be too. I have had iOS 8 since it came out, to the present date, so just over a year. Suddenly, this happened to me last night. Can't turn off vibrate, change ringtones, battery percentage, etc.. Will try updating to the newest firmware tonight.

I am having this exact same problem as well. Some settings will not stay changed, e.g. battery percentage display and no vibrate when on silent. Would somebody be able to post how they have resolved this issue? Thank you!
