When I play minecraft on my macbook pro, my computer's fan turns on which is very loud, and also my computer gets hot. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but I make Minecraft Youtube videos and it sounds bad in the video.
Games are very resource intensive and will place stress on the CPU/GPU creating heat. The fans then speed up to dissipate that heat. This is normal and expected with games and like applications.

Sometimes this happens when the computer has to do a lot of work.... What I mean by that is if you have other applications open or applications that are running it has to work minecraft which you are in and the other apps that are running.... To prevent this from happening is when you are playing Minecraft only have like 1 or 2 apps open in the background at a time and none running then the fans don't have to kick in and make the computer get hot. This has happened to me and I did exactly this and it stopped after the first try of doing it.

I kind of found a solution. I cannot stop it from happening, but so the sound isn't in my Youtube videos, I can use a microphone. That works but it brings me to another problem: When I use a microphone, only the sound that goes into the microphone is recorded. Not the sounds on the computer. If I use no microphone, than the internal microphone would be used and it records the sounds on the computer and my voice, but also the annoying fan sound, but if I use a microphone, my voice is recorded and not the fan sound, but not the sound on my computer either.
same problem, late 2011 13' mbp, it actually has exceeded the thermal limit and hit 103C before... I guess the real issue is a lack of vents to cool it down. I can only really give you one honest answer; **** happens m8. as long as it works im happy, maybe if you up the ram, maybe, it might put the cpu under less load.
Well my mac can get really hot but thats not so much the problem. I am usually ok with it if I am playing by myself but I like to record Minecraft Youtube videos with Quicktime, while playing Minecraft. It sounds really bad in the video to have a loud fan sound in the background.
i kind of fixed it... i put an ice pack under my mac to lower temperature. it reduced it by 10% remember to rap the ice pack in a paper towel tho... good luck. bit of advice; get screen capture tool pro, app store, it will record computer sound and anything picked up through the mic, it is highly configurable too.
