Q: IOS 8 busted my iPhone 4s

After the release of IOS 8 it took only around 13 days to bust my device, and I was not the only one in the store that had this problem “error 4013,” and they told me that I have to purchase a new one?? Why just because I don’t want to change my iPhone 4s to iPhone 6 or
plus?
