Logic Board stopped working after 20 months of use

Hi

I'm writing because I want to express myself about something so disappointed and sad.

I was in New York, working as an Au Pair, I saved during 7 months my whole salary to buy a Mac Book Pro. I came back to my home country and after 20 months with my Mac the logic board stopped working. I went to the certificate service for Apple in my country to check the Mac; they told me that was impossible to repair it that was so much better to buy a new one. What???

Unfortunately I couldn't buy the Apple care for a longer time and now I've lost my money and the information. I worked so hard to get an Apple product because it was supposed to be the best in the market, and you can see i wasn't.

I don’t know what to do!
