Q: iPhone 6 issues

I just purchased an unlocked iPhone 6 (64GB) through the Apple website and put it on MetroPCS.  I am having signal issues (low bars or no Internet connectivity at all) in areas I should have excellent service.  These are NOT "dead zones" by any means.

 

Aside from that, I've noticed this new iPhone 6 goes through the battery like wildfire - even when not using the phone at all. 

 

My last issue with the phone, so far, is that the on/off button has been placed on the right side of the phone - a very odd placement and I keep accidentally pushing the button when trying to hold the phone or take a pic, etc.

 

 

The button placement I can adapt to, but the signal issues and the battery issues are unacceptable for a phone I just dished out over $900 for.
