Serial number

If i give my serial number at apple support chat to contact any expert i need to pay it ?

I saw your question yesterday and I tried to find a definitive answer for you on this, but I could not find one. AFAIK, there is no charge for online chats, but I cannot say with absolute certainty that there won't be. But I am quite sure that Apple would tell you that there is going to be a charge for the chat before they would proceed.

You'll find out when you do it. If it's not free ... THEN ... they will be asking you for money. If they don't ask you for any money ... then it's free (at least up to that point in your conversation with them) ... :-) ...


In other words, they don't "send you a bill" ... they will get your money FIRST before they do anything -- IF -- it is supposed to be charged to you.

No you do not need to pay at this point. If you would have been charged for whatever you did, they would have told you right then and there that there was going to be a charge for the service. They will not proceed unless you agree to pay, so they will not charge you without asking you first. When they contact you, they will tell you if you have to pay or not.
