Virus in the iphone 5

hey guys i use an iPhone 5 with IOS 8.0. when i open my iPhone using the data cable i can see a lot of drives in the folder of DCIM what do i do? format the entire i phone or go ahead using it? will it affect my PC? i use a windows 7 pc. Please help me out guys.

There are no viruses for iOS.

What are the names of the folders you're seeing?

don't worry there's no virus for iOS. try to plug different usb socket.
