Implement a time-spent-on-project feature in Logic Pro X

Hi there!

I was wondering if it's possible to create a little applet, that counts the hours you spent on a document, like FL Studio has, I think it's great.

So I've tried doing it myself in AppleScript several times, but I don't have the knowledge to do this, although I guess it's not too complicated.

Somebody with better coding experiences than me should get this relatively easily or am I wrong there?

It must be able to decide whether the user is actually working on the project or if it's just waiting in the background.

Any ideas? Every help would be truly appreciated, I've been dreaming of this for so long time already.
