Q: How to sign out of old ICloud account

I have recently just updated to IOS 8 and I am unable to log out of my old ICloud account which I no longer have or know the password to I can't seem to find a way to log off so I am able to sign into iCloud with my other apple id

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID.  If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.

 

Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.)  Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPhone and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID).  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    To change the iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID.  If you don't know the password for the old ID (or if it isn't accepted) and the old ID is an earlier version of your new ID, follow the troubleshooting steps in this article: If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud.  The last one (change your Apple ID temporarily) will usually fix this.

    it still doesn't work I don't know my old password and it keeps asking me for it . i have no way at getting to that old email because it was hacked ALL i am trying to do is log out of it so i can go on my account i have now

    Is the old ID an earlier version of the iCloud ID you have now?

    yes it is everything else is logged into my new apple id but iCloud

    Here, it shows my last ID . i forget the pw of this old one and dont want to use it any more. I tried to use my current PW but i got error.(pw is not correct)

    So i could not sign out from Icloudde and find my iphone too.
