Keyboard shortcuts not working on iPad Air ios 8.02
Any ideas? They work fine on my iPhone 6.
iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 7.1.2

I Don't know for sure but I think it has something to do with 3rd party keyboards. My shortcuts understandably stopped working when I tested out a couple of different keyboards. Swype was one of them that I love on the iPhone 5s but not on iPad air. I deleted all 3rd part keyboards and my shortcuts no longer work. iOS 8.1 will be available for download on Monday; I'm hoping that will fix this.
Some time ago the shortcuts I used so much started to not work. After trying everything with some success, I found a verifiable fix which works every time I've tried it. If the shortcuts stop working, simply go to settings, keyboards then shortcuts. Highlight the top of the list shortcut of your saved shortcuts. Click save, shortcuts are restored every time on my iPad Air 2, 128 gig, wi-fi. I have never tried anything other than the top one on the list. Hope this helps anyome who has lost that feature and wants to easily restore it.
